Castlegar Community Garden 2007
Castlegar Community Garden started in 2007 and has successful gardens in 2007 and 2008. Fall of 2008 was the Evergreen funded Garden Expansion Project creating additional raised beds. Total beds is now 34 including 4 special access beds. Secret Garden - test patch grown on donated land Summer 2008
Mr. Nick Chernoff graciously donated a plot of land for the Garden Crew to grow a few plants and test the viability of the site and of the plants vs. the wild critters.
